He's the stallion of Currituck
He runs with the horses
On the North Carolina shore

He's the stallion of Currituck
He leads the herd
The herd of twenty, maybe more

They all run free, but
they have their ranks

They roam the sands
Of the outer banks

He's in control

wood called purple hart. The inspiration came to me on
our trip to the outer banks in 1999.
