TWINS

I don’t know why it happens
that some are doubly blessed
they get to do things twice each time
I'm sure they're twice the test

I think that when God went to choose
He said they're both so cute
He took them by their little feet
and threw them down the chute

I'm glad that when God went to choose
the ones that I call mine
He didn't have that problem
and through one down at a time

I guess to have them arrive as two
would be a lot of fun
and I guess it would be worth it
if it was twice as fun as one

I’m sure God knows which mothers
can pass this blessed test
I’m sure in His infinite wisdom
He chose the very best
